Carbomap spun out of the University of Edinburgh in 2013, taking forward over five years of world-class research in the development of new forest mapping technologies and approaches. Their scientific founders have international reputations in remote sensing methodologies, satellite radar mapping, forest structure mapping, carbon sequestration and airborne survey.
Since their founding we have successfully brought this academic research and applied it within a commercial context. Having worked with government agencies, NGO’s and research institutes, their client base and core-partnerships are growing, helping them to lead this emerging market.

AltiGator Aerial Image Aircrafts UAV32

Founded in 2008 by early multirotor enthusiasts having more than 15 years of experience as remote control aircrafts pilots and builders.

Altigator is a drone manufacturer company located in Belgium in the center of Europe. They manufacture the ready-to-fly OnyxStar® FOX-C8HD drone with redundant MikroKopter® electronics, YellowScan® LIDAR* systems, the carbon fixing set, a Graupner MX-20, batteries and charger, a transportation case and several accessories. This drone is approved by the DGAC in France in category E, for scenario S1 and S2. This aircraft includes the all GPS functionalities allowing to navigate autonomously (automatic take-off and landing, waypoints flights, position and altitude hold, back to home, POI – points of interest, etc).

CloudCompare provides a set of basic tools for manually editing and rendering 3D pointclouds and triangular meshes. It also offers various advanced processing algorithms (registration, distance computation, segmentation, etc.). It is an independant open source project and a free software.
